Research Manager

We are looking for influential Research Managers who are inquisitive, ambitious and outgoing to act as the trusted advisor for your varied client base. Wanting to develop your skills and experience across qualitative and quantitative research and to be exposed to the full process, you will motivate and lead your team to deliver focused and innovative projects. 

The role

As a Research Manager you will design, implement and report on qualitative and quantitative research projects. You will plan and deliver projects including the development of research proposals and the management of existing client relationships. The post holder will work alongside our other specialist sector account managers, being involved in their relevant projects where appropriate.

You will be the point of contact for your clients, responsible for building external relationships and communicating effectively to support your internal team to deliver quality insights.

Desirable skills & experience

Sound commercial experience in research and marketing is important, ideally gained from spending time within a small or medium sized agency. The post offers the unique opportunity to be involved with innovative digital research techniques in addition to the more traditional methods.The successful candidate is expected to have experience of line management and to be able to coach and develop their research team.

The person

This role would suit an ambitious, inquisitive and outgoing team player who enjoys a varied programme of work and wants to be involved in the full research process. It is therefore essential that candidates have a good practical understanding of all research methodologies and appreciation of how research and marketing information is used.
