"How Tech Savvy are we?"

The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) has recently commissioned a report which aims to discover how tech savvy the UK population is.

Research by Design is proud to have conducted research towards this project on behalf of the IET. This research involved a mix of qualitative focus groups and a quantitative survey directed at over 500 people aged 18-65. The results show that 82% of UK consumers believe that technology has had an overall positive impact on their daily life.

However, there were some concerns about society becoming more inactive and lazy (65%). The report also highlights the disconnect between what people want from technology and what is being developed.
